Why I Bought The ProBlogger Book And Why You Should Too! (if you’re a blogger)
December 17th, 2008 by JR GriggsI recently purchased a book by Darren Rowse and Chris Garrett called “ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income ” I found this book to be extremely well written and contained an enormous amount of information about creating a blog and then making money from it. It is definitely a worth while investment. I must warn you though, this book is not a sit back at the beach read. Before you open it make sure you have a pen, highlighter and sticky tabs ready to go!
Why I bought it
When I first found ProBlogger.net I was very impressed with the amount of helpful articles on blogging. I would spend hours just reading through the archives. When you look through his site you do not feel as if there are secrets he is keeping to himself. You get a true feeling that he is giving you everything he can. It is my greatest aid in my blogging venture so far.
On top of having the knowledge and experience to put out great content on blogging, I have found Darren to be a really great person. He shows a true desire to help you in any way he can. I have personally emailed him and gotten an answer. I also follow him on Twitter @problogger. If I have a question I can shoot him a quick message and know that when he has time he will respond.
I love blogging and I want to be successful at it, the best way to do that is to listen to the vast knowledge of guys like Darren and Chris who have been there and done that!
Why you should buy it
What? The reasons I bought it weren’t good enough?
Here is why you must buy it, bloggers like myself who are just starting out in this industry have a very important advantage that bloggers like Darren did not have. We have bloggers like Darren! We can learn from their mistakes and their successes. If you are passionate about blogging and truly want to be successful at it, even if it is not for money, you should be seeking all the help you can get! These guys did it without some of the benefits and knowledge we have today. This gives us the opportunity to hopefully have a few less bumps and bruises on the way to full time blogging.
