We were told that we had to give GM billions of dollars to stop them from going bankrupt. If we didn’t give them this money hundreds of thousands of people would lose their jobs and businesses would be shut down. Car dealers would lose their lots. It would be catastrophic.

So we give them billions to save them. But they still went bankrupt! How did that happen? What happened to Obama saving them with all that tax money?

Were We Lied To?

The interesting thing here is that we give them all that money, and Obama pretty much now owns them. And if you are too naive to think so, then ask yourself why he was able to fire the CEO? But after buying them they still go bankrupt and none of what they said would happen, happened. Hundreds of thousands of people did not lose their jobs. Businesses did not close down in a major catastrophe. Except the dealers that they demanded shut down.

So what happened? Well we have 2 choices here. Either the Obama administration lied to us. Or they just did not understand. Either way it is really scary. If they lied to us, why and what else have they lied about? If they just did not know any better, then why are they handling the nations finances? If they can’t properly estimate what GM’s financial situation is, then we are screwed!

Personally I think they 100% knew that GM would still go bankrupt.

So Why Buy GM?

So we still need an answer. If buying GM did not stop them from going bankrupt what did we accomplish. It’s very simple. Obama now owns GM! That is why. It had nothing to do with saving jobs or saving GM. It had to do with the government wanting to own an auto maker. So they can set the tone of what cars should be made and cut back on those evil trucks and suv’s. Not to mention Obama now gets to guarantee his Union buddy’s more benefits.

Come on people you are smarter than they think you are. Stop letting them look you in the eye and call you stupid! That is what they are doing. They lied to you so they could own an auto company. What other reason could you think of for what they did?

Look at the facts:

• It did not stop the bankruptcy
• The bankruptcy did not have the effect they said it would
• The job losses the said would happen did not happen

It’s time to start questioning your government and asking for the truth. If you cannot get it, it’s time to fire them!
