Remember The Troops This Christmas
December 16th, 2008 by JR GriggsThis year many of our soldiers will not be home for Christmas. Many of them will be out on the front lines, ensuring that we can have Christmas in the peace of our homes. They will sacrifice their Christmas to give us the freedom to celebrate ours. They will do so, even though they have members of their own government calling them murderers and the media pouncing on anything negative they can find. Please remember the men and women who are out there keeping us safe. Below is a great video I found called “A Soldiers Silent Night.”

Hey, it’s “Chen”…saw your bulletin on MySpace. I was just thinking about this last night at a candlelight Christmas service they were holding here at West Point. And I came to thinking that while I have been away from home for 6 months missing family and friends dearly, our active troops are out for longer periods of time under harsher conditions. I’m grateful for and salute their sacrifice(s).
God Bless Our Troops
