Welcome to JR’s 2 Cents!
The purpose of this site is to provide a place for me to share what I have learned and continue to learn in life. The common theme will be topics of growth, with some off topic stuff thrown in here and there. A place to blog some thoughts as often as possible. And a place to provide helpful articles on a variety of topics. Through my life I have had the privilege to be involved in a lot of things and I know that I have a lot to offer. Hopefully as the site grows the main purpose will be not just a place for me to express myself and hopefully ad some insight into this world. But my hope is that it becomes a place for many to gain and grow from the content here.

Religion
I am a Christian who believes in the literal interpretation of the Word of God. I believe strongly that all Christians should be actively studying the Word of God and the defense of the faith. There are just too many “wishy washy” Christians out there and those who give Christ a bad name. You will find many posts that will help to grow your faith as I seek to grow mine as well.
Health and Fitness
From childhood I have always been active in sports. I have done quite a few diets and exercise routines in my life and love to share on those experiences. Currently I am training in Tae Kwon-Do under the Kwon, Jae Hwa system.
Parenting
I have 2 beautiful children and find it very important to not only invest in their lives but to invest in my ability to raise them well. I have been fortunate to have some good people in my life offer great advise that has paid off. There are also many books out there that I highly recommend and look to highlight.
Personal Development
There is a lot of great information out there on how to grow in your personal life. I am not a “positive thought” type of person or a psychology person and I am not a fan of self help stuff. I have however found a lot of helpful info out there that I think is wise to study. Things that will help keep you organized and focused with out all the mind games of some of the programs out there.
Finance
As I seek to make the right decisions in my finances I come across some great stuff. I have learned a lot in my research and hope to learn more and continue to share it here.
Politics
This topic is a little less geared towards growth but still very important in my life and something I think everyone should be involved in. I will try not to post silly gossip type of politics (this may be hard to do) but stick to the important issues. I am a conservative Republican. I am also for truth and honesty in politics. You will find opinions on both sides of the street from me. I believe that it is extremely important to be involved in the political process and to be researching and studying the facts in politics.
